Dot NAME Domains

Launched in 2001, the .NAME top-level domain is the single TLD meant for personal websites only. These domains can be personal or fictional names, nicknames and/or other designations people are known by. Initially, only 3rd-level registrations were possible, so if you wished to order john.doe.name, you were required to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration process was liberalized and 2nd-level registrations were also permitted. Already taken 3rd-level domains remained active.

You will have the chance to switch the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to modify Custom DNS records, etc. You can also transfer an existing domain to our company if you have its EPP transfer authorization key from the present registrar and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been finalized.
